Layla Francine Weschke Boyd is a third-generation artist and illustrator based in Folkestone, on England's sunny south coast. After graduating from Falmouth University's Illustration degree in 2009 she has worked as an illustrator, illustration agent and, in recent years, as a creative producer at major firms across the advertising industry, including VCCP and Publicis Groupe.  Her work has been exhibited across the UK and clients include Saatchi & Saatchi, Blow PR and various editorial publications.

She works in a playful, bold, graphic style in ink and watercolour, with a focus on the human form. Her drawings take inspiration from modernist and expressionist figurative artists including Egon Scheile and Max Beckmann, updated for the contemporary era of selfies, filters, and fashion.
